openAIP - Worldwide aviation database

openAIP has the goal to deliver free, current and precise navigational data to anyone. openAIP is a web-based crowd-sourced aeronautical information platform that allows registered users to add, edit and download aeronautical data in many common formats used in general aviation.
All available data is instantly shown on the openAIP map where you can take a peak at airports, airspaces, navigational aids, thermal hotspots and many other datasets.

Whether you are flying powered aircraft, gliders or paragliders, openAIP can provide data that serves many needs and fits any purpose. Additionally, openAIP provides the possibility to integrate into third-party desktop applications or mobile solutions. openAIP data can be downloaded free of charge for private use. Temporary airspaces added to German airspace
From 15.09.2015 - 21.10.2015 several temporary airspaces are active in Germany. Those airspaces are ED-R Frankfurt, ED-R Koenigstein, RMZ Frankfurt, ED-R München, RMZ München and ED-R Buechel. Please consult NfL and NOTAM for further information.
Major update to New Zealand airspace available
A major update for the New Zealand airspace is available. Please note that all country specific airspace types, e.g. VHZ, are mapped as 'G' airspaces which result in a 'GLIDING' airspace in the .aip file. The issues with country specific airspace types will be fixed with version 2 of openAIP.

Italian airspace update valid from 20.08.2015 added and available for download.
Lao People's Democratic Republic airspace contributed
The Lao People's Democratic Republic airspace has been contributed to openAIP. Download is available from today. Thank you to all contributors!
Free aip2kml converter available for testing and customization
User opac provides a free aip2kml converter including source code. You can download the code here . Keep in mind that the converter is intended to be used with the Swiss airspace. Thank you very much for this contribution, opac!
